The subject says it all. I was surprised we didn't get some of the early versions as well. Even one skin would have been enough.
Thanks
Very well done.....

I wish it were as simple as a new skin, as the C is my favorite of all the Mustangs. The B/C and A would both require new 3D models and flight model tweaks and the A would require a new soundset. The B/C would require a rework of the upper fuselage and wing filet. In addition to the upper fuselage work, and A would require a rework of the radiator scoop area and the whole nose due to the Allison engine.

I would expect that the A would be quite a bit different in the flight model department. As far as I know, the differences between the B/C and D are the lighter weight and increased directional stability of the earlier model. Of course, I am not a pilot or flight sim developer so I may be way off. I asked one of the CAF pilots about the differences once, and he said it was pretty much like the D other than the view and an extra inch of MP.SDickson wrote:Not to mention changing the flight dynamics.
I can;t thank Shockwave enough for what an excellent product the P-51 is. It's the next best thing to being around a real one.
