ADF selecting frequency

Hi,

I wanted to enter a NDB frequency (388.5). I just wonder how i can enter ,5?. Many thanks.

Hi Real,

If I'm not mistaken you cannot dial .5 for the NDB frequency in the sim. It is either 388 or 389 like in your example.

Just like in the real unit, you can only dial in whole numbers. Unlike in reality, though, 388.0 won't receive a station on 388.5. Unfortunately, but that’s a sim limitation.

Having said that, what you want to do is open up the 2D radio panel (Shift-6 IIRC) where you can dial in decimals.
