Do you have any modifications to the Bonanza installed Kimo? Repaints or that kind of thing?

Thanks,
Nick

No after the re-install I have not installed any paints. So clean install only have the gtn650 installed.
I even tried it with the default gps.

Thanks Kimo,

Just out of interest, which version of P3Dv4 are you using. Also, which other A2A products do you currently have installed for the platform and do they all use the new style of installer?

I run P3D 4.2.21.24048. I have installed the Bonanza, cherokee, texan, comanche, Cessna 182, Texan, L049 all with the new type installer and up to date.

Okay, thanks for the info. Still no success in reproducing this issue with my installation I'm afraid, and so far no other users have reported the same problem.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else you can try.

Cheers,
Nick

The V35 is the only rain-enabled aircraft that has the windshield.dll. Is it possible an antivirus is blocking it?

Dear Gentlemen,

same Problem here, no rain effects in the Bonanza. Not much more to tell, cause it is exactly the same set up and problem.

regards
Peter

Hello Lewis,

thank you for asking. I have nearly all A2A aircraft installed. At the beginning of the Bonanza flying the effect was working. Yesterday I launched the update for the C 172 and the C 182. These airplanes work flawless. I did a flight from PAKT to PAJN with awful real weather ( rainy and stormy ), tried both Cessnas, effect works. Bonanza nope. Even a restart of AS had no succses. The only problem is, I can not clearly say since the effects in the Bonananz do not work anymore cause the last weeks I flew only in sunny skies!!

Any other new installs are the flightsimware Learjet35 with immersion pack but I do not think this is the problem, cause both cessnas are working. Can not try the P 40 cause presently I do not own her. Comanche, Cherokee, T-6, Connie and Spitfire and P-51 also in the Hangar but as I know these birds still in development for the effects.

Strange problem!

Peter

Hello Peter,

Are you using any third party GPS?

can you please try a reinstall of the Bonanza and try just stock with no added third party GPS.

thanks,
Lewis

Hello Lewis,

I use the GTN650/750 on all my A2A fleet where it is implemented. Mmh I am not a fan of these permanent re-installs but okay I will give it a try.

thank you very much

Peter

Hello Peter (and of course Kimo),

Just to let you know we're continuing to look into this issue to see if we can reproduce or explain it.

Just to clarify, the other aircraft do use a copy of the windshield.dll too, but they use a shared version of this file in the 'Gauges' directory. Of course, odd action by AV software can never be ruled-out completely but it seems unlikely it's the culprit here.

Anyway, with the next update to the Bonanza we'll be bringing its windshield.dll location in line with the other aircraft which have recently had the rain effect retrofitted.

Thanks,
Nick

I hope y'all figure out what it is. I have held off updating the 172 and the T-6 due to this issue.
