I happen to have access to one.Nick - A2A wrote:Okay, thanks - so it's the 32-bit edition of Win 7 where you're seeing the problem? I'll look into this further but unfortunately I don't have access to a 32-bit edition of Windows for testing.
Cheers,

Anyway, on a lark and in an attempt to be at least somewhat helpful, I fired up regedit to do some recon on the Win7 X86 PC. I am seeing:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\A2A Simulations Inc.\FSXPath (REG_SZ)
HKLM\SOFTWARE\A2A Simulations Inc.\Accu-Sim Bonanza 35 for Flight Simulator X\Path (REG_SZ)
HKLM\SOFTWARE\A2A Simulations Inc.\Accu-Sim Bonanza 35 for Flight Simulator X\Version (REG_SZ).
The FSXPath regkey in the A2A Simulations Inc. folder and the Path regkey in the Bonanza subfolder both point correctly to the file location of the FSX installation. The version regkey indicates 18.9.15.1.
So it looks like the installer is at least writing the information to the registry. The goofy thing is, I know nothing else how A2A has been writing the OTHER installations and I'm not yet finding the other aircrafts I've installed in the registry either. Not sure how the legacy updaters have been finding the other aircrafts in this case, and not sure why the new updater isn't parsing the data from the registry correctly.
Could it be something as goofy as 32bit vs. 64bit here?
