Instruments & circuit breakers

Post by B-17 Flier »

I searched through the entire manual but couldn't find anything about these two questions.

Do the circuit breakers pull out or do they have to pop out if there's a short?

In the hangar, I can bring up the instrument panel but what is it there for?

Thanks.

I think the instrument panel pop-up is to fix instruments that are dodgy!

Thanks but what about the C/B's? I forget which one it is, the Cherokee? You can actually fail a system by pulling a breaker, I like that.

Yes, indeed. Whenever an instrument seems to be in need of repair, you will see it mentioned in the "Instrument" Window of the "Maintenance Hangar".

No they can't be pulled out manually Paul. They're a different type of flush-mounted breaker to those found in the Pipers. The mouse click action only has an effect to reset a breaker if it's already tripped.

Thanks,
Nick

Many thanks Nick. It's now my all-time favorite GA plane. It's like the manual says, a real fighter jet type plane. But she's real squirrly at slow speeds. Very pleased with it!
