Prop RPM

Whenever Im in cruise and I lower the prop rpm to get it below 2500, it goes in full at some point. I pull it back and its keep going full at intermittent times.

Sounds like a controller issue. How are you controlling your power controls?

I have the mixture and prop assigned to keys on the keyboard not to my joystick and throttle.

Never had that. I set 2200 in cruise and it's very stable the whole trip. Never had any gauge anomalies.

Yeah it keeps cycling back to full prop rpm on its own.

double check the assignments, very likely an crossed assignment.

Checked already. Only assigned to one key each.

But did you check the mappings on your joystick and throttle? Multiple mappings can be set up and you will need to check each device's mappings separately. Also check that the A2A input configurator isn't showing mappings.

oooook I do apologize I checked again and it was cross assigned with the same key i had for a view in chaseplane. Thanks!

The config on the sim is less than intuitive with the ability to map assignments multiple times. It doesn't make sense that one should be able to do that in my book, but it has caught me off guard more than once.
