Nav 1 and the GTN 750
I can’t get the nav1 gauge to work with the 750. The distance measuring equipment works just fine and I have tried right clicking the memory card on the unit. The A2A Bonanza doesn’t show up in my Flight1 GTN configure tool. Could this be the issue? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

What do you mean by nav1 gauge? The GTN 750 has the nav1 radio built in, which drives the HSI..bobbysweatpants wrote:I can’t get the nav1 gauge to work with the 750. Yes, thank you Bert. It’s not driving the HSI. The course deviation bar never moves.
Re: Nav 1 and the GTN 750
You set up the GTN750 through the A2A aircraft configurator not the flight one configurator.

Well, you select the GPS through the A2A aircraft configurator which I did. There's nothing to set up really and it's still not communicating with the HSI.

When you first turn on the the GTN, and get to the first test page, do the HSI needles deflect as they should?bobbysweatpants wrote:Well, you select the GPS through the A2A aircraft configurator which I did. There's nothing to set up really and it's still not communicating with the HSI.

Look at the bottom of your GTN panel...........is it set for GPS or VLOC? I believe it has to be in VLOC to drive the Nav 1 gauge.

Trust me my friend......I've been caught on that one a few times myself. (smile)bobbysweatpants wrote:Bingo! Thanks Sarge.

Well, usually it should display GPS when you want the magenta to drive the HSI and VLOC if you want the tuned nav station to drive the HSI.
