There used to be an option in the .ini file that would corect this. I think it was link VOR. I remember this from the Mustang civilian early days.

It is not an issue with how the F1 GTN (or GNS) unit interact with the Autopilot, but rather the logic behind the Autopilot that doesn´t allow the approach mode to activate when non ILS' (radio Localiser / Glideslope) approaches, like LPV and LNAV+V Approaches are used.
Right now Approach mode only activates when a valid ILS/GS signal is recieved (based on the NAV1 radio).

When I like to do basic flying, I turn to A2A Aircraft, cause A2A "basic" flying means "complex" procedures.

Thank you! After shooting a couple approaches with the 650 I was sure I was doing something wrong here. Glad I'm not going insane.

This is one of the only operational issues I've found. You guys are great!
