Mixture setting messages

Post by Dreamsofwings »

New to the Connie here so have some patience with me!

I am getting the message from P3D coming up through most of the flight saying that my engine is losing performance because the mixture settings aren't leaned out correctly. I am using the correct lever settings for the stages of flight. Is this just down to the P3D monitoring piece not understanding the complexity of the Accu-sim piece or am I just being a big dumbass and not doing something right?

Hi Rob,

Yes - I think it's pretty much as you say: P3D's "user tips" aren't able to recognise the custom fuel mixture simulation included within Accu-Sim.

Check that auto mixture isn't ticked in the P3D "realism" settings, and I also suggest switching off "user tips" on the "information" options page.

Thanks,
Nick

Thanks again Nick!

Who needs P3D "user tips" anyway when you have the A2A manual!
Turning off!
