all engines "cough"

Post by honzah »

Hello, after moving from old notebook - WIN7 (64bit) to the new one - WIN10, reinstalling FSX and L049, starting my problems. After engine start it right away starts to cough - RPMs is permanently after a few seconds going down and up. When I started by Ctrl-E - the same resume. Only on 100% power it stops => I can fly. But when power < 100% engines start to cough again. After fly I looked on engines status and there was for example (engine 3): "Engine - Hours: -1928.1 since overhaul". After only one flight about 10 minutes long. I tried reinstall COTS but the same situation. Have somebody any ideas?

Hi.
Is FSX updated to SP1 and SP2 or acceleration or is it steam edition , and is the A2A Connie updated , also you should not reinstall as this can make things worse and prevent people from helping you solve the issue , always ask for help first and only reinstall when told to do so as a last resort.

I apologize for this thread! I really missed turn off the auto mixture command at FSX settings. Next I turned it off, but probably I leaved the form without save ... Old mad dog. Thank you Tomas, you noticed me. May be it could be good note for someone else.

Haha, not the first, not the last.
Glad I could help. The hint was you just installed FSX on a new computer, auto mixture is on by default, and most of us do not touch that setting once it is off

Happy flying, as Lewis would say :D
Kind Regards
Tomas
