Braking and gear extension/retraction leads to AP pulling up

Post by R-2800-59 »

Dear community,

a few times already the following issue occured: Accidentally hitting the toe brake button on my joystick, the autopilot pulls up very hard and causes my plane to enter a near stall climb until i manage to set it off and recover.
The same thing happens when I apply the parking brake in flight and when I extend the landing gear while the autopilot is still on.

Betty is pretty much opset with me and my flying and serves my sandwiches stirred since that day...

Any help?

Check that no other control is assigned to your toe brake button in either your sim or FSUIPC.

Yep. Sounds like you've got that toe brake cross-assigned to another control (possibly the elevator, elevator trim, or spoilers).

Yes I would agree with the others, it does sound like a cross map somewhere in your system.

thanks,
