Since this was first released and I bought it for 3.4 and now have it in V4 I noticed something that's been bugging me. And with other people's screens I see I'm not alone.
On the #3 & 4 engine indicator the green arc seems almost fluorescent bright green compared to the #'s 1 & 2 directly to the left of it.
Anyone else see this?
Thanks.

Is this what you are speaking of? The color does not look too bad but the bleed is noticeable. I did not have this in FSX boxed or Steam. However in P3Dv4 I do. You can see green bleeding onto the panel above the gauge too. I am very happy that the nose light bleed through the dash has been fixed

Yep, that's it.
Not a deal breaker but noticeable nonetheless

Gents,
I believe the 'green arc' is actually part of the reflection map which is rendered on the gauge glass. The extract below from the relevant VC texture makes this a bit more apparent.
It does seem to be excessively colourful however. There's further discussion of the matter here.
Cheers,
Nick

Thanks Nick, I for one don't like it, I find it distracting but it's not a deal breaker. I've worked cockpits, real cockpits, since 1981 and have never seen anything like this. If we ever saw this on an F-111 we would have replaced it in a second.Nick M wrote:Gents,
