Re: Wierd nav light issue
Hello,
someone had a similar issue with another P3Dv4 aircraft and the issue was due to using a non P3Dv4 add-on in P3Dv4. I seem to recall it being some old AI software that was not P3Dv4 software but built for another platform and was replacing texture and effect files with old ones from a different Software Development Kit from a different platform.
Are you using any other add-ons?
thanks,
Lewis

As Lewis says, and I've said previously, you MUST be careful using non-V4 verified product in the sim as there are many modified files in v4 that HAVE THE SAME NAME as in previous versions.
And as so many troubleshooting posts, yours does not contain anything resembling the info needed to offer proper guidance. If you want support, you must first provide enough information to enable us to help, else the advice can only be the same:
Reinstall the sim
Reinstall the A2A craft
And nobody wants that, do they?
So, sim version, system specs, hardware specs, other addons installed, and any and all other information. Besides that, tell us HOW you reinstalled? Over the top or the true reinstall method?

Re: Wierd nav light issue
Ok,
P3d v4 (with latest hotfix)
Orbx global
Orbx HD trees
Orbx lib
Pmdg 747
a2a connie - commanche - 172
Win 10
i7-6700k
asus strix 1080ti 11gb
Removed the connie from remove programs, removed the files in documents, then reinstalled.
I found that removing (fx_2.bmp) in the texture folder removes the nav lights, and the wierd effect, but thats really not a solution.
FIXED! Replaced the mentioned (file fx_2.bmp) with original one.
Thx for reply.

Re: Wierd nav light issue
Good to hear, sounds like something replaced that file as we don't touch it with the connie. We just use the new v4 stock one. Looks like something over wrote the stock one in your install.
thanks,
Lewis
