Fuel Planning
I read almost the whole aircraft manual but I still don't know how to calculate the fuel quantity for a flight. The tables on the manual are not simple to me. Someone could help me ?

Re: Fuel Planning
Hi.
I use as a guide for planning the route and fuel required as ( route distance / speed 180 = time expected for trip ) then ( trip time + 45min * 600 * 4 / 6 ) = gal required , look at table below for conversions.
on average i find that each engine uses about 700 on climb 600 on cruise and 500 on decent this is why i used 600 pph * 4 engines / 6 from table below to get the gal required , hope this helps .
convert avtur lbs to usgal = 6.7
convert avtur usgal to ltrs = 3.8
convert avtur ltrs to lbs =1.76
convert avgas lbs to usgal = 6.0 conni calc
convert avgas usgal to ltrs = 3.8
convert avgas ltrs to lbs = 1.58
regards alan.
