Why is the plane already running everytime I load in

Everytime I load up FSX in the Connie she is already started up and running even though I shut her down on previous flight.... Any help or anwsers??

I believe this is because the Connie isn't persistent in the same way as other recent A2A add-ons. Instead, if the engine(s) are running for your default flight in FSX (as with the original "Trike over Friday Harbour" flight for instance) then the Connie will simply inherit this state. In other words, the default FSX behaviour applies.

Just to add to Nicks reply. In order to resolve this load the default flight. Shut the engine of the default plane down. Save the flight as your default flight again.

The next time you load the Connie the engines should be off.

...And something else I forgot to mention above: you could also try the "Auto C&D" (cold and dark) option in the shift 3 menu.

The "problem" is that auto c&d starts with engines running for a few seconds, and then you hear all the switches going to off and the engines stops. Kinda break the immersion

It does not do this if you have the engine off in your default flight
