Navigators Aircraft Time issue

Post by WB_FlashOver »

I've been working my eastward (generally) and have been in Asia lately. I've been noticing that the navigators watch is broken or is simply a cheap knock-off. I just departed Clark International in the Philippines heading for Tansonnhat Vietnam. Departure was 22:10 +/- local time. I am at 23:40 now after 1.5 hours. However, the navigator is telling me the aircraft time is 12:42 PM. I'm thinking I've crossed a time zone in here somewhere. I think we have an issue with making the turn from 24:00 to 00:01.

This is in JoinFS so I suppose this could be effecting it somewhat. I will do some more testing one this. These are my first flights for this time of day, locally, so have not noticed it before.

Update: just rolled over midnight and the FSX digital clock I have in a 2D panel is saying 00:09 while the navigators Aircraft Time is saying 13:09 PM. Yes, just like that "13:09 PM"

I've always wondered why the crew would sometimes say "Good Morning Captain" when it was obviously afternoon..

The two might be related.

I found the same problem in the Strat when flying east in the wee small hours. Heidi was bringing coffee. Figured we needed it. Not sure if the punters were being interrupted as well.
