Sound on cockpit view looking forward. (FSX SE)

Hello,

I ask myself if this feature is only available for the Connie because on my C172 Trainer and C182T on this cockpit view looking straight forward I have no engine sounds. I just get the sounds on cockpit view looking on the right/left/bottom/above side but no sounds looking forward.

are you in the virtual cockpit?

Sounds like you are in the old 2d cockpit views.

I don't say virtual cockpit view but as you state the odd cockpit view.

In this view with the Connie looking forward I hear the sounds engines but it is not the case on the others A2A C172 Trainer and C182T I have installed as long as I look forward because looking (always in this odd cockpit view) to the right/left/above/bottom I can heard the sounds engine.

That's why I ask if it is a specific feature with the Connie or if this feature could be added in future update to the C172 and C182 ?

Hello Gerard,

no this is because of the Accu-sim sound engine and the way the platform works with sounds. The old 2d cockpit views where essentially depreciated in FSX with all focus being on the virtual cockpit.

Ok dear Lewis for your infos.

The named as you said odd cockpit view is always a 3D view and when you are looking forward only the 3D virtual panel cockpit is not displayed.

With the L-049 in this view the sound engines are still present but it's not the case on the others A2A C172 Trainer and the C182T where the engine sound is totaly stopped when looking forward but still enabled when looking at the right/left/upper/bottom sides.

Anyway that don't prevent me to enjoy the Connie.
