Accusim crash

Post by Brian Smith »

I don't know if this has been addressed elsewhere but, whilenflying from Shannon to Orly the other night, I received a message from the sim. It said that accusim had crashed and that I needed to restart FSX. The plane was continuing to fly and there didn't seem to be any ill effects, but being a good pilot, I rebooted my PC and started the flight over. Has anyone else had that happen?

Nope. Green message bar appeared that said "accusim has crashed. Please restart FSX"

That green bar very likely said simconnect has crashed. That is the way it appears when I goes down.

Yes it sounds like a basic simconnect crash and a restart.

If it keeps happening your simconnect might need a bit of a kick up and ass via a quick reinstall of simconnect. Its a core part of the FS platform, a link to download it can be found in the troubleshooting FAQ for the Connie.

thanks,
