2D COTS Panels do not come up

Just installed LM 049. When selecting "Shift 1,2....9" the COTS panels do not come up. Selecting "Shift 1,2...5" brings up 2d instrument-radio panels. I have the Boeing 377 installed and the COTS panels come up and work fine. I noticed the note on page 104 "if default commands don't work please check the mappings in your host simulator under panel window 1-9" . The panels in my installation don't even come up so I don't know if they are mapped correctly or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you on P3D by any chance? If so, my bet would be that you selected the default Connie and not the A2A one.

yes it sounds like you have selected the default constellation that ships with P3D

Hi .
If the shift+2 to 9 come up on the b377 but not the connie , then these views are mapped in your sim , but if you are using the p3d , then as stated previously , make sure you are selecting the A2A cots connie , and not the default connie.
Also to double check your sims views for these is mapped look for these views in settings/controls/views:-

panel windows2 (display/hide) shift+2
panel windows3 (display/hide) shift+3
panel windows4 (display/hide) shift+4
ectra till
panel windows9 (display/hide) shift+9

Thanks for your quick reply's. As with much in computers the operator was at fault. I am using a boxed Gold Edition of FSX. I was not aware that Constellations were in FSX and yes there are 11 of them. I was selecting one of these. The A2A Constellations are the second aircraft in the aircraft listing and I missed them and went to the standard Constellations listing in the middle of the aircraft listings. When an A2A Constellations is selected the Shift 1,2.....9" selection brought up the COTS panels.
