Installation Question

Post by patchadams69 »

I've just purchase the Connie and I downloaded the installer. I opened the installer as admin on my winsows 10 machine and everything seemed to install correctly until I open Prepar3d version 3.4 academic and I have the graphic settings turn almost to max and the cockpit of the airplane is very basic and looks nothing like the real thing. The cockpit in general is different than every youtube video and screenshot that I've seen. Also when I hit the keystrokes to get the popup menus I only have 3 basic 2D panels popup with none of the typical a2a menus even available at all. I purchased the Connie Prepar3d academic version and I have no idea what is going on. I've tried redownloading the installer as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the Connie and nothing works. I don't know what else to do.

Are you sure that you actually load the A2A Connie when you open the plane in P3D? Maybe there is also a freeware / Stock Connie installed in your P3D that you open instead?

You are almost certainly looking at the default L-049 from Just Flight. The A2A version is listed as WoS _L049.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

it does sound like you have loaded one of the default P3D aircraft.

thanks,
