What is the difference between Academic and Professional
Can you use the academic version of the Connie in the professional version of P3DV4

yes, simply purchase the license that applies to you similar to how you do P3D.

Lewis, for claritys sake: If I own P3D professional, but am using the A2A product for academic purposes, a) will the academic version of the A2A aircraft work in P3Dv4 professional? and b) is this use acceptable to A2A?

No. You buy the version which matches which P3D license you own.

Thanks for the answers gents. To be 100% clear with reference to some of the later posts on this thread, I have NO intention of contravening any EULA, with LM, A2A or anyone else.
I originally understood that Professional had to be matched with Professional, as it were, but Lewis's reply to the OP lead me to believe I might have been wrong on that matter.
Again I appreciate the guidance.
