Is the Connie based on a RW example ?

I note the PMDG DC 6 is basrd on a currently flying example, replete with small Garmin gps.

Is the connie per chance ?

Yes, it is, except the RW Connie is not airworthy. Have you seen the intro video which Scott did?

Hi.
Yes the connie at first glance is intimidating , and complex , but you soon get used to it , i now have at this time 311.4hrs on the connie , most of these hrs on vatsim in career mode , and yes i have had emergencies on line , mostly sick passengers , had a few vips as well , and one emergency was two in one , started with sick pax resulting in a diversion , and ended up almost losing engs 1 and 2 on finals due to swirling high winds on the edge of a storm , the winds caused air starvation for a few seconds , which caused the engines to splutter and almost die.
every flight is different i highly recommend it , great aircraft.
