Pilot Records

Post by omnijet »

Twice now, I have accidently reset my Pilot Records pop-up while trying to drag the window. Any way to retrieve and reset the earlier times from my original flights. I hate to keep going back to new-hire. It's depressing. I'll never get to be Chief Pilot this at this rate.

I did that a few times too but now I back up the 377 and Connie Lo49log.dat.bac logs just in case. They can be found in Documents>A2A>and what you are using as a platform(eg:FSX)
Hope this helps you out.

The reset button needs to moved. It's far too easy to accidentally hit it.

You'd have to move the cursor to that particular small box and click, its no easier or harder to hit than any other button?

Haha, I'm guessing this is one of the few cases where you'd like windows to ask:" are you sure you want to do a complete overhaul / reset / repair engine/ more options " :D :D

Hey Scott,

It's very close to the 'x' to close the pop up - that was 1 that got me So now only use shift 9 keys to open close.

Another option is to present a confirmation dialog before resetting the hours.

There is a solution to this problem. The A2A system for the Connie automatically makes a back up of your pilots career history, See thread under the heading - Restoring Career History - Is this possible - you will find this thread in the Lockheed Model 049 Tech Support forum.
Hope this helps
