Engine start up

Post by david1952 »

Hi Guys

[Solved] unchecked the auto mixture in Realism options.
In P3D V4 I have a problem to start the Connie.
I use the pop up screen and press auto-start but engine starts and closed immediately.

Bye, David

I'm not about P3D as I run FSX boxed, but this sounds like "Auto mixture" is ticked.
Also please make sure you have the latest update installed: http://www.a2asimulations.com/forum/vie ... 33&t=57819
Kind Regards
Tomas

Please check with Louis before running the 4-13-2017 update on a v4 version of the A2A aircraft! I read somewhere on this forum that the P3Dv4 versions of A2A aircraft come fully updated for v4, and that the 4-13-2017 update is not compatible with v4 aircraft. Read through this thread: https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewto ... &start=315.

Have you fuel? Are you set up per the Manuals instructions?

DO NOT install the update for v4 aircraft, as of this date. The installation is fully updated.

as I read it, the updater will not detect V4 aircraft, so I do not think it will do any harm running the updater. I mean if you have more than 1 platform on you system what are you going to do?

Lewis, can you confirm the 4-13-2017 update won't break the V4 aircraft. It seems like there are a bit of a confusion here. or maybe I'm the only one who is confused :?: :?: (won't be the first time that happens....)
Kind Regards
Tomas

Hey David,

Load the Connie. If you have external hardware, cycle the mixture. Set the FE to handle systems. Auto start.

Hey David, make sure disconnect is installed in v4. Are any other menus working as expected?

He means Simconnect.
And what does the maintenance hangar say?

DO NOT remove the aircraft unless instructed to do so, there is no need - not to fix your little local problem, anyways.

Just provide sufficient info, and correct advice will be supplied.

Thanks guys
I waited with hope for this plane to come into P3D V4
On P3D V3 it loads with engines fired up and here it is very complicated.
I know I can go all over the long procedure of firing up, but wanted a short cut to take off and enjoy. :D
Yes when I press Shift + 3 there is the menu to do this and that, but nothing helps.
I also moved to the flight engineer seat but still no luck.
Bye and thanks, David

Hi Guys

[Solved]

New problem now when starting the Connie.
The engines RPM is moving up and down.
Checked the hangar and engines are excellent.

Thanks, David
