Hello, recently bought the connie and fsx steam love flying it but am curious about something.
In the eastern airlines promo film with the super constellation and Arthur Godfrey I distinctly remember after the take off roll him calling for "meto" power from his engineer, so my question?
what is "meto" power, how is it calculated, and in future accusim updates can we have a feature where we can "call" from the computer engineer for meto power without having to do it manually like captain Godfrey and other connie captains could back in the 50's? thanks
Meto Power What is it?
Re: Meto Power What is it?
Hi,
I am not a real world pilot but, as far as I've researched METO power, means literally (Maximum Except for Take Off). METO power is also the maximum power allowed to engines for a prolonged period of time.
Cheerz,
Will
