TWA N90831 Weathered with aged cockpit and new startup smoke

Post by Warbirds »

A2A Constellation TWA N90831 textures. This livery is a modified and worn version of the A2A TWA stock livery and depicts an aircraft that has seen some air miles and is not shiny and new anymore. This zip also contains my aged worn civilian cockpit and gauges and also a new startup smoke effects config that increases the volume of smoke at startup, also added correct animated propeller showing orange blade tips in motion.

Download at Flightsim.com or Avsim Library or SOH Library. Search for exact phrase Paul Grubich to find my uploads.

Very nice! Have really been looking forward to someone coming up with a greater smoke effect!
Thank you.

Nice paint job. The weathering looks effective but not overdone as the major airlines of that time looked after their planes. The smoke effect is great too and I'll be using that as my default effect as it's more in keeping with all the videos I've seen of these engines at start up.

Thanks,
Mike

I added you smoke effect to the Connie base file so all the different versions us it. I also changed some of the cockpit interiors. It's pretty amazing how much you can mess around with files and still FSX works.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D liquid cooled, OC to 4.5 ghz, Radeon XFX 6900XT Black edition, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ddr4 ram, Asus Hero Crosshair VIII mother board, and some other stuff I forget exactly what.

Very nice indeed! The smoke effect is right on the money!

Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!

Hi Ron, is there any chance at all of getting a version of N90831 as a buffed up and polished shiny version?

I've seen the real one and she's beautiful but wondered what she would have looked like all polished and beautiful.

Understand if you can't

Cheers,
James
