Coming out of career mode after a flight - how?

Post by Adam_NZ »

After a successful flight in career mode, I find I can't toggle career mode to OFF - regardless of C&D state, parked, unloaded, everything off etc. What's the trick?

I find the only way to do it is to momentarily enable/disable SLEW mode. This can't be the right way to so it, Shirley?

Hi Adam.
Simple once a career mode flight is finished , end the flight sim flight , start your next flight , turn career mode off before loading pax/fuel.

Thanks, Alan - how do you mean "end the sim flight"? I'm parked/unloaded - I have the career briefing telling me the details - as far as I'm concerned, the flight is over <?>.

Adam

You'll need to press left ALT key to get the menu, then go into "Flights" and select "End Flight"

if you don't like the menu on the top of your screen, press and hold left ALT

I think the "ESC" is the default key, but I'm not sure
Kind Regards
Tomas

Ooooh right (thanks) ... I didn't think I'd be needing to use a *sim* command to do this. I thought the L049 scripts would realise that I've finished/unloaded/switched off and that it could all be done from within the SHF-3/SHF-4 menus - just that there was still something I hadn't turned off. I don't remember having to do this with the COTS B3777 add-on.
