This topic from Nico081 was posted some time ago, Thu Oct 27, 2011 12:30 pm to be exact. Since the Connie is out I've taken her out on IVAO many times now and stumbled on the same problem Nico081 was talking about. So I thought to put this request in revision.Hi A2A team.
I exclusively fly my complete accusim fleet, also my other addons online at IVAO online platform like many other simmers all over the world flying together under ATC control. This platform requires to download their multiplayer traffic library (MTL), which are aircraft (textures) i have to install to get shown all possible aircraft while flying online. These textures are installed at my desktop and get implemented into FSX via AI traffic system. This library unfortunately do not include textures for all airplanes you can get at as addon aircraft on FSX market or only in very bad quality. In this library there are no textures and no different liveries aviable for a Boeing 377, Spitfire, for example. In this case if i fly the Spitfire, i have to coose another aircraft to get shown for other users online, which is covered by the library, maybe a P51. IVAO every time is happy to find persons offering some textures and/or repaints to get get more aircraft types and repaints to put them into the MTL library.
But there are two major problems:
-Not to get into conflict with copytights of tesxtures or
-To be in accordance with the requirements of texture sizes and rules
The rules are shown here: http://mtl.ivao.aero/
Both problems could be solved by you as the developer of aircraft and their textures. . Scott, do you think it is possible for your team and your texture specialists to get some small sized textures of your fleet into agreement with IVAO rules? Many of your costumers (like me) would be very happy to get seen as an A2A aircraft and type when flying online, what is also promotion for your high end products.
Would be very great
It would be very nice for me, guys from ATC and my fellow pilots to see the Connie on their screen in stead of f.i the DC3 I'm using now.

p.s. there wasn't any respons on Nico081's topic, something that astonished me.
