On most of the paints that I have seen for the Connie, I cannot find where the Aileron starts or ends on the "shiny" wings. There should be a visible hinge point on the leading edge of the aileron and a visible small gap at the ends of the ailerons to allow them to move up and down. The same thing goes for Aileron Trim Tabs. Call me crazy if you want: but the wing looks weird to me with no visible ailerons, walkway paint or exhaust smoke trail on the wings. The wings just look like one big chunk of shiny metal with no wing definition. I looked through as many Connie pics as I could find, to find some of the top of the wings to make my point. These are the only two I could find that clearly shows the Aileron definition. Thank you for you time.

And those only show because the ailerons are deflected. Apparently the real things have very fine clearance.

I use to work on the Connies many years ago and the aileron gaps and hinge points always show, just like any other airplane. Here are 3 more pics from the bottom of the wing. In these pics you can clearly see the aileron and trim tab.

Its not that it's not there Cliff, it's just not real definite on the kit. It could be done for sure, but Maybe a layer could be added. Most other paint kits have that area defined well. That's also why I try to accent the "grunge" and smoke as it gives character.
