It's a bit difficult to come up with other superlatives to describe both the video and the Connie -- WOW! sums it up very adequately! :D

Very much looking forward to the release of this magnificent A2A rendition of this classic airliner. Credit card is at the ready!

I have a special fondness for the Constellation series. I believe it was 1952 when my sister and I flew for the first time - from Madison, WI to Chicago Midway to visit our brother who was working for Eastern Airlines. We flew down and back on Wisconsin Central in a DC-3. While still at the airport that evening, Doug, our oldest brother, just had to show us the Pride of Eastern - the new Lockheed Super Constellation! (No security clearance needed back then!!) What a contrast between the well worn DC-3 and the "State of the Art" Super Connie!

Eastern's first Connie was the L649, delivered in 1947, (Ref. "Eastern - An Airline and its Aircraft" by R.E.G. Davies) so they never had this L049 version but it is close enough for an Eastern livery paint job. Hope to see one from our very talented re-painters on this forum

 wow! Awesome video! It paid if to take the time to do the video Scott! I can tell you that! Great job!

And wow that Connie looks absolutely gorgeous! And the modeling of the fuselage and cockpit looks outstanding! I had to watch it on my tv to get a grip on the detail!

Can't wait for the release! Thanks for the video!

Thanks Scott and team! I'm speechless....I can't believe that I can get emotional over 1's and 0's! It's obvious you've poured you heart into this project like all your projects, and I can't wait to have her in my hangar.
Cheers,
Randall

As always another excellent video from A2A showing off a day one purchase for myself.

I guess next is the possibility of the manual being made available for download followed by the release itself. Can't wait :)

Dammit... i just wet myself.. :?

Finally justice has been done. A fully fledged all singing and dancing rendition of the most venerable and gorgeous looking airliner of all times. There simply is no competition, not in the real world and not in our beloved virtual world.

" Hmmm.... you say that just by watching the video ?... "

Yessir, and knowing what A2A stands for.

Thanks a million Scott and A2A !! I love you guys !!!

Cheers,
Jan

I wonder if I could stick my thumb out the cockpit window to see which way the wind direction is at 10,000 ft just to help my navigator out :D

Depends on whether beans or brussel sprouts were on the menu `out back` among the self-loading cargo...

I have to say it's not the kind of thing I'd buy, nor will I, but that video made me wish it was. Superb! :D
