I've made the switch to P3dv4. The T6 worked perfectly in FSX. Purchased the version for P3Dv4. I have tried everything I know to get the plane to steer on the ground but no luck. Even used FSUIPC to map my controls but still no luck. With the stick back the rudder goes hard over left and right but the tail wheel has no effect at all. Pushing the stick full forward and using left or right brake has no effect. I'm leaving shortly to get a full checkout in the real T6 and have been using the A2A T6 in FSX to get used to the cockpit layout. Sure hope you can help get it working in P3Dv4. Dave

Hello and welcome to the forums,

it sounds like you are running P3Dv4.1 but have not applied the latest Accu-sim updater which makes the P3Dv4 software compatible with P3Dv4.1.

I was impacted by this as well - just bought the Texan during the holiday sale. Update fixed this for me as well - thanks guys!!

After installing the update, my T-6 tailwheel lock don't work. ??

P3D V4.1 A2A T-6 purchased 12/27/2017.

The Tail wheel lock "unlock" (Joystick full forward) only works sometimes. Many problems to steer on Ground. Sometimes no unlocking possible until reload of T-6.

Install the 10_12_17-Update.

Tailwheel lock don't work anymore. Problems with unlocked tailwheel with landing.

The tailwheel on the T-6 is either free castor stick full fwd and differential bakeing and small throttle helps to turn aircraft in its own axis , stick neutral or back , connects tailwheel to rudder where rudder left/right steers the aircraft , THERE IS NO TAIL WHEEL LOCK on this aircraft .

Wish I had found this before I went through the work of uninstalling and reinstalling everything. T-6 works great now!
