Bug: Magnetos position is not saved from previous flight.

Post by boomshinesaigon »

Prepar3D Version: 3.4.18.19475
SimConnect Version: 3.4.0.0
Plane Version: A2A_Update_01_17_17

Note 1: Tests are done after loading a default aircraft (F-22) at a default airport (Eglin AFB), then loading the T-6 at the same airport. No SimConnect errors have occurred.

Note 2: Auto C&D is OFF.

Issue: The aircraft will not save the trim tab positions (rudder and elevator) from a previous flight. The trim tabs will be reset to the neutral position for both the rudder and elevator trim.

Reproduction steps:

1. Set the magnetos to L, R or BOTH.
2. Exit the simulator.
3. Open the simulator.
4. Upon loading into the T-6:
  • If the engine was off when exiting the sim: observe as the magnetos switch goes to the BOTH position if it was left at L or R or remains at the BOTH position for a second or two before resetting back to OFF.
If the engine was on when exiting the sim: observe as the magnetos is automatically set to the BOTH position.

The magnetos have a special treatment, they initialize based on running engine. We don't save them.
