Prepar3D Version: 3.4.18.19475
SimConnect Version: 3.4.0.0
Plane Version: A2A_Update_01_17_17
Note 1: Tests are done after loading a default aircraft (F-22) at a default airport (Eglin AFB), then loading the T-6 at the same airport. No SimConnect errors have occurred.
Note 2: Auto C&D is OFF.
Issue: The aircraft will not save the trim tab positions (rudder and elevator) from a previous flight. The trim tabs will be reset to the neutral position for both the rudder and elevator trim.
Reproduction steps:
1. Adjust either or both trim tabs as desired.
2. Exit the simulator.
3. Open the simulator.
4. Upon loading into the T-6, observe as the trim tabs have reset themselves to the neutral position.
Bug: Trim tab positions are not saved from previous flight.

Re: Bug: Trim tab positions are not saved from previous flig
The state of the trimmers depends on a saved flight.

Re: Bug: Trim tab positions are not saved from previous flig
Hello ROB,
Sorry, I might have been unclear: I am not saving a scenario and then reloading it, I am simply just creating new scenarios from wherever I left off last time.
I thought that those plane settings were supposed to be persistent even if we start a new scenario because other items (such as the carburetor heat lever) are persistent without using the save scenario feature.
You are correct that the trim positions are saved when reloading a saved scenario. I will begin using saves.
Thank you.

Some items, just a few, for various - mostly technical - reasons are not persistent. Some of them may become persistent in the future. Anyway, feel tree to ask - this can always be a bug.

Re: Bug: Trim tab positions are not saved from previous flig
Some settings will always come from a default flight, the default flight is like the master file. It ideally should always be a default aircraft. I tend to keep mine as the trike over friday harbour.
thanks,
Lewis
