no control on takeoff

Post by tkcamp »

I am having a problem with the T-6. when taking off the control surfaces do not respond. The plane will wander off the runway and when I get up to speed will suddenly jump in the air at which time all control is given back to me. I have the accusim B-17, Spitfire and p-40 and these are fine. Any Ideas?

Make sure the control lock is off.

If this isn't the problem follow the instructions given here:

Hello,

yes check the control lock and just to be safe have you ran the latest Accu-sim updater since installing the T-6?

thanks,

Probably a good idea if you can let us know what sort of control hardware you're using, particularly for controlling the rudder axis.

Thanks,
Nick

Just one more thing would be to check if the control surfaces actually move or if they don't. So maybe you can go to an external view and check if rudder, aileron and elevator move if you move your hardware.
