I have had this item in the Tech Support area for several days and it appears a lot of others are interested in an answer.
I have purchased nearly every plane you have offered and while I visit your website many times a day it is mostly to learn what is being asked and stay current with what is happening. I don't log on and ask many questions but when I do it would be nice to get an answer. Maybe you feel I am just to old to be worth worrying about....grin
The items below are what I am interested in knowing regarding the T6.
There are three items in the pre flight list that I am not sure of.
Radio Compass Switch....off
Gyro Switch...on
Gyros ...uncaged
Are these simulated and if so where? I can't seem to find them.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Remote Compass: there's no switch (afaik no breaker either) so always on with power.
Gyros: the Turn & Bank comes on with electrical power.
I'm not sure about the DG, whether it is electrical or vacuum (I have assumed vacuum but I still hear a gyro sound after pulling the T&B breaker).
Attitude Indicator is vacuum (so no switch for it either).
As far caging them, not a way to do that with a knob (afaik) and possibly not needed on some newer gyro instruments (like these newer ones?).

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the answer. I kind of assumed that but wasn't sure.
Thanks again,
Tom

Welcome,
Yeah those (checklist) items were from one of the T-6s Flight Handbook.

On my T6 the remote compass has a circuit breaker on the breaker panel, bottom right.Great Ozzie wrote:Hi Tom,
