Shared cockpits

Post by Spamcan51 »

I was wondering does the A2A T-6 Texan have the shared cockpit feature. a friend just bought the entire accusim fleet. he wants me wants me to instruct him in the T-6. thank you for all the help. BTW I just passed my 500th hour in the T-6 and just completed my 20th cross country flight.

500 hours! Wow! Bet you have those landing down pat...

There is a "shared cockpit" feature in JoinFS: http://pmem.uk/joinfs/manual.html#shared.

JoinFS is the program that we use for multiplayer flights. Hope this helps. Maybe after Player A joins Player B's aircraft, Player A can one or the other can select rear cockpit view. Check out the Multiplayer sub-forum. You also need to download "Discord" for communication via headsets.

Hello,

the shared cockpit function in FSX tends not to work with most complex sims as it only caters for the basic default sim parameters. Because we use our own simulation engine (Accu-sim) theirs no way to share these features between one PC to another.

thanks,

I don't recall it being tried, but I believe the same limitations would apply as it wouldn't know what to read to send to other players. It'd depend on how it works.
