No power

Post by vino »

I was flying over Southern France with my Texan in a poor weather. My plane has about 4 hours flying time. Suddenly (about 20mins after take off) I'm getting no power from my engine. Full throttle and nothing happens. I landed safely and opened maintenance hangar. It claimed that there was nothing wrong with the plane, not even fouled plugs. Can someone tell me what went wrong?

Sorry, my english sucks! :D

Hi vino,

I suppose you had carburator icing. Next time try to apply carburator heat and see if power comes bsck.
