Chilling in the T-6/Harvard

Post by danb12 »

So I have been flying the B-17 a lot recently and neglected my good ole T-6... This really is a superb little aircraft and is so much fun to fly! Took some screenshots during a little flight from Duxford, doing a bit of sightseeing over Cambridge to refresh myself, followed by some basic aeros on the way back. The screenshots have been 'auto-corrected' in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, but aren't too far off what I see as I run SweetFX/Reshade

I hope you enjoy...

Dan

I know. That sound is hard to beat. And then the tension during landing... :D

I know... I was doing really well - wind straight down the runway at about 8kts... 3 pointer (I am doing my ppl in a Tiger Moth) It was a lot harder than I remember it being!! I walked away though and the hangar says all good still!

Cheers Lewis... That is ACG Duxford...

I virtually flew G-TDJN out your way today... Went Duxford - Wattisham - Felixstowe - Lowestoft - Seething. Took the same route as I did when I was a very lucky passenger in a P-51 last Feb... except we went back to Duxford after Aldeburgh...

Tucked up in the hangar at Seething (UK2000 airfields). First time I have used the towing function!!
