Easy aircraft to get addicted to
Easy aircraft to get addicted to
Since the day I got the T6, that is all I have flown despite having 3 other A2A aircraft in the hangar as well as many other good flying aircraft. I love flying this aircraft and it is always a challenge to get better at it. Nice to hand fly, autopilot works very well and landing in a crosswind will always get one's attention.

I've only flown the B-377 and B-17. I've avoided looking into smaller aircraft because, well, to be honest I don't see much appeal in flying smaller aircraft. However, out of all the smaller A2A aircraft this one seems very interesting. Would you recommend it?

"Recommend" is such a vague term around these parts. You literally cannot go wrong with any Accu-Sim purchase. With that said, if you could only get ONE of their "small planes" "single engine" then I'd get the T-6. It's the newest release, and it's a radial engine, and it does aerobatics.

Want to feel like you are flying a real aircraft, check the weather when approaching an airport, and realize that you have to land the AT6 in a stiff crosswind. That will make you sweat...

Hi Bob.
I have landed her in severe gusting crosswinds , even tried a dutch roll method of control , ie cross controls , boot full of rudder , then control with oposite aileron , takes a bit of practice , but she handles it well , just dont try the same method in a highwing aircraft though , as it can be fatal.
regards alan.

Its a great plane to joy ride. I prefer the comanche for cross country flights for the speed.
