What is a good formation power setting for the T6? 30/2000 or 30/2200?

In this case there is no optimum power setting. Lead should be carrying a setting that allows you a slight power advantage that you will need for a turn away from you. When you get proficient at flying a wing position you will be able to maintain position integrity without too much power jockeying by using yo yo's (going high) and arching (going low).

That probably won't work. A wingman doesn't carry a set power setting. You will find it necessary to be moving in and out of minute throttle adjustments constantly to maintain a position.
Look at it this way. View yourself as flying lead's airplane because in effect that is exactly what you are doing. ANY change in lead's heading or altitude will require YOU to alter throttle either up or back. Forget that you are even inside your own aircraft. Everything about formation relates ONLY to relative positioning in reference to lead's aircraft.
It's very difficult to explain formation flying just using text. I strongly suggest you seek out a competent source of material and study it carefully. I believe the T34 Association has an excellent manual.

I'll go as far as to say you don't even need scenery. No more gazing at the ground, you'll only have eyes for your lead. The trouble is formation teams make it look so easy. It aint!
But I love it. The only way to fly.

You've probably seen this video but it's well worth watching again...and again. :D

Listen to the throttle of the plane you're watching from. A revelation. It was for me anyway.

What Mr. Henriques said here confirmed me in my conviction that an airplane has actually four primary flight controls, not three as usually taught, the fourth being the throttle.

That's true, and your movements will be extremely small and very subtle, and most importantly you will not be looking at the engine instrumentation at all. Don't take your eyes off the lead. You are flying his airplane.
