North American AT-6B, Year built: 1942, Construction Number (C/N): 84-7748, Registration Number: N57418, Mode S (ICAO24) Code: A75FE1, Certification Class: Standard, Certification Issued: 2009-08-17, Air Worthiness Test: 1983-07-11, Last Action Taken: 2009-08-17; Current Status: Valid, San Clemente, CA 92673.
The aircraft is part of the "Condor Squadron" (a flying warbird group/foundation), which operates a number of T-6's/SNJ's out of Van Nuys, California, painted in both US and German markings for their airshow acts (the Luftwaffe-painted examples acting as the aggressors), as well as flying formations over parades and memorial services. N57418 used to be one of the German-painted examples, but now has been repainted as one of the 31st FG-painted American examples - there are still a few others painted in German markings to how N57418 used to look, such as N9525C and N7969C.
Interior has been painted gray as per WW2 German aircraft.

Re: Finished Repaints
Hiya,
My repaint of the US NAVY (USN) tri-colour scheme is available. Based on B/W photo's. The aircraft (SNJ-4) was stationed Naval Air Station Jacksonville in 1943 during WWII. Not clear or the "157" was just a instruction airframe or a operational aircraft.
The "157" was was displayed on various photo's with USN WAVES woman at work on this aircraft. For more information on the WAVE please visit: http://www.womenofwwii.com/wavesatwork.html
Download: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=195747
Enjoy!

Re: Finished Repaints
Hi there guys... very late, but finally done...
A double Spammy Whammy...
First up 'Nellie'
I saw the scheme up close and in person a few years ago, when she still flew out of Stellenbosch. I fell in love with these colors, and it has remained my favorite ever since

The Pilot Maker...
Same aircraft, but she received some new logos and decals over the years. This is how the aircraft is flown today, by the Harvard Club from AFB Swartkorps.

Hiya,
The repaint of the Noorduyn Harvard AT-16 PH-KLU is finished and released.
This aircraft is painted in a scheme of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Serial XS-249 based at RCAF Station Moose Jaw. Currently this aircraft is based at Oostwold airport in the North of the Netherlands. Owner is Tom van der Meulen, who also owns the P-51D called "Damn Yankee".
The repaint is both on the outside and inside (pilots). The bump-map was modified, some latches removed some other added, also modified the baggage compartment to look more like a Harvard then the Texan one.

Enjoy!

this is the skin that I used to make the weathered template, as this is a WWII T-6, I used the complete weathered package on it
