Wing profile.

Post by Caldemeyn »

Hi all.

I decided to ask you guys something, when you look at the tips of the wings without tip tanks, do the wings look like they have a laminar profile ? Am i just hanging onto the details here ? To me it looks like a typical profile. Here is an irl look of the wingtip, i don't think the model looks the same:

If so, would that be a change worth doing at this point, especially if the rest of the wing is like this, besides the wing root ? Maybe its just a different wingtip type that is shaped this way and im just ranting here 8) ?

Im ready to dip my head in ash if this is baseless

Hello,

yes you are correct in the last part, there are numerous wing tip designs sans tanks as well as tanks themselves. We just modelled two types.

Thanks,
Lewis
