First a little history I installed the A2A 250 into Prepar3D v 4. After a few days I uninstalled PR3D.
Now when I fly the A2A 250 in FSX-SE, even after
a complete overhaul
auto-starting from cold and
uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft
I have several issues:
No engine sound in the cockpit but I do have sound with the external views.
The HSI is not working, the indicator needle does not move when I change direction. The heading bug is working fine.
The landing gear will not retract and the when auto starting from cold and dark neither the green "down and locked" light or the amber "unsafe light" come on. The switch moves when I click it but the gear does not retract on the first or second or third or any other click.
If I turn the autopilot on during flight it shuts off a second after finishing its startup procedure.
All the control surfaces seem to work fine and the Piper Cub and Cessna 172 trainer work fine.
Regards

Hi,
Most of the issues you mention could be explained by tripped circuit breakers. Have you checked the row of breakers underneath the left hand side of the panel (gear motor/light breakers are here), along with the HSI circuit breaker which is located near to the primer?
For the internal Accu-Sim sounds, please can you also check the volume control in the shift 3 menu.
Thanks,
Nick

Thank you Nick it was the tripped circuit breakers and sound volume on the f3 menu. I hadn't checked the circuit breakers assuming they were reset during the complete overhaul. I must have lowered the volume after a shout out from my wife.
Thanks for the quick response.
