Dear all,
I fly the comanche 250 under P3DV4.2 and after installing the GTN750 GPS I discovered that it works fine but the bank angle is limited to more or less 10 degrees when PA is engaged.
so the bird follow the GPS but takes very large turn and it is stupid when the plan is to turn 90° or more !!
To be sure, I have reinstalled the basic P3D GPS (with A2A tool) and in fact I have exaclty the same behavior !!
I have some pictures to explain better if needed
someone can help ? I did something wrong ?
thank's for help
Didier

Hello Didier,
"PA" = "pilote automatique" I guess, it's "AP" for us English-speaking folk.
Anyway, what you describe is normal for the S-TEC System 30 autopilot modelled. It lacks an intercept routine and instead is designed to simply track a VOR radial, localizer or some fixed course.
One solution is to switch momentarily to another autopilot mode such as HD or ST to make any sharp course changes manually.
Thanks,
Nick

Yes I wanted to say AP sorry , I am not an English speaking person, I am from France and I try to do my best ;
anyway , thank you for you fast and clear answer.
and sorry to disturb the forum with stupid question, perhaps it was written somewhere in teh S-TEC system 30 manual but I dont think it comes with the A2A Commanche documentation and I a not a real pilot
So the topic is closed
