Tip Tank Quantity Toggle Switch

Post by Les Parson »

The aforementioned toggle switch defaults to the right tank and will not remain on the left tank for more than a fraction of a second. I've not seen this before and wonder if there is a past history.

Hello Les,
My first thought is that there may be a control triggering it somewheres. What are you using for your controls, i.e. LINDA, FSUIPC, SpadneXt or Sim controls or other? Look for a key binding that might be effecting it. I use LINDA with controls set to go from one tank to the other.

Good luck Sir
Roger

Thanks Roger, I use FSUIPC but I still haven't had success after deleting PA24 profiles I created, etc.

Did you by any chance assign a command in the A2A Comanche input configurator to the tip tank gauge toggle that might be causing a conflicting input?

I checked the A2A input coordinator and didn't see any entry for tip tank qty toggle.

Maybe something in FSUIPC in the Non profile Specific settings? I've also had my Fsuipc.ini get dorked up and had to rebuild it. Move yours out of the modules folder, let it build a new one, if problem persists then it's not FSUIPC.

Thanks, I was hoping to avoid that but it looks like it's going to be required.

If the problem persists then put the original back in. Another option if the new .ini doesn't do it you can try rebuilding the SIM config file but that requires even more work.
