I just got done installing the plane for p3d v4.1
I selected used, so now the plane is in bad shape
if I open the shop, I can click complete overhaul and I can see the button blink but nothing happens, everything is still in red.
I've updated it with the latest accusim patch, but still no go.
???
Can't fix the plane in shop, therefore can't fly it

Hi.
This sounds like a simconnect issue , i have FSX +A but i believe you need to install the correct simcionnect , search the A2A forums for this issue in P3Dv4 as others have had same issues which this fixed for them.
regards alan.

Yes I believe it’s a Simconnect issue too! You should find rather detailed instructions on how to install it in the FAQ thread at the top of the forum.

Yes i'll vote for simconnect too. P3D includes it in its install directory, you'll just want to navigate to it, run it and then restart your system and you should be good to go.
thanks,

Re: Can't fix the plane in shop, therefore can't fly it
Thanks so much.
That did it, I fixed it all up , haven't flown it yet.
btw, just a side question.
Is there anyway to keep it an empty plane until I'm ready to board it and fly?
Now that I think about it. When I do my walk around, you start in the cabin, but when you go to the outside views the pilot still shows in the cabin. anyway to do this automatically without having to click empty plane?

Good to hear you’re up and running.briansommers wrote: btw, just a side question.

To your second question. No unfortunately there’s no other way then hitting empty plane or click on the pilot in the shift+4 menu to get him or her if the seat when doing the walkaround.
