Hi all,
Im curious if there is a way i can go in and manually change the tach (or hobbs) times on my commanche (or any accusim really)?
It is my understanding that higher times on the AC will lead to more eastereggs on preflight as well as operating the AC.
I wish to raise the times on the commanche to match one I might find for sale on ASO (aircraft shopper online). That way I can better simulate aircraft ownership especially on a used and even abused aircraft.
Thank you
Brian

Re: Aircraft times
Hi Brian,
Though you can't set the Hobbs or tacho hours to a specific figure of your choice, clicking "USED" on the shift 3 menu will give you an aircraft which has already accumulated a somewhat random number of hours. If you do this a few times, you should end up with something close to your desired level of pre-use.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Aircraft times
Ile definitely give that a try. I suspect there is a file somewhere that has this time recorded on it. Just gotta get to it! Of course that may cause massive problems, maybe leave well enough alone
Re: Aircraft times
The A2A data files are in a proprietary non-text format.

Re: Aircraft times
There certainly is such a file Brian (Documents\A2A\FSX\Comanche250\Comanche250Log.dat) but due to the way it's encoded, I don't believe it's possible to open and manually edit it with something like Notepad.

Hi Brian,
You can alter the age of your aircraft so that it appears older and less reliable.Just change the engine hours.
I strongly suggest reading the manual too.
Cheers Chris
