P3D v4.1, with 2 day ago installs of the Texan and Comanche.
I have no Aircraft Sounds in the cockpit. There is Engine Sound in the outside views.
Volume is turned up in the Shift 3 Window.
All my other aircraft have sound.
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Hi Steve,
The internal (Accu-Sim) engine sounds play through your default Windows audio playback device, so it may be worth making sure that this device is plugged-in and switched-on. It's possible other sound effects are being directed to a different playback device in the P3D audio settings.
Thanks,
Nick

Thanks for your input Nick. I`ve been down that road with no joy.
In love with the A2A Comanche for P3D v4. Sporting a new WWii RAF Texture by George Lasecki. Here are Two shots while waiting to roll out of Charlton Field (Scenery from the 1988 TV Series `Piece of Cake) and into the Dawn of a new day. For those in the know, I`m not sure about the Bridge yet.

Sure wish I could hear it.

Okay, thanks Steve.
Probably worth verifying your legacy SimConnect installation for P3D. You can do this by browsing to the "SimConnect.msi" installer in this location and running it...
C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib
...If this doesn't help, please can you give us a bit more info about your audio playback setup. (e.g. device type and so on.)
Cheers,
Nick

Re: P3D v4.1 - Comanche and Texan - No Sounds in Cockpit
Hello Nick,
P3D v4 is on my J: SSD drive and I have run the Legacy FSX-SP2-XPACK SimConnect.msi with no Sound joy in the virtual cockpit. I do get the sound in the other views.
I've also reinstalled P3D v3 to my F: SSD drive and installed the A2A Comanche to v3 where the sound works just fine.
My sound system is Realtek HD Audio is part of the Asus Z97 Motherboard and I have an Altec Lansing speaker system. this works just fine with all other applications including the A2A Comanche in P3D v3.
I am suspecting the issue may be my use of Lorby-SI Addon Organizer for P3D v4 and/or my choice(s) as to where to install and activate the Comanche.
I wonder if the A2A Comanche Installer could simply find the right place on its own?
Steve

Thank you for the update Steve - I'm pleased to hear the issue is resolved. Afraid I'm not too familiar with the Lorby-SI addon organizer, but from a quick glance through its documentation, I can see how it could cause some issues.
Best regards,
Nick
