Fatal Error after new install

I have just purchased a new HP Omen computer for the purpose of enhancing my FSX performance. I have installed FSX + Acceleration and several 'add-on' aircraft. All seems to perform beautifully with two exceptions ( the A2A Comanche and 182 aircraft which are currently the only A2A aircraft that I have).

When I choose an A2A aircraft, whether it is on the opening screen or from the 'Aircraft' drop down menu after I am in the program with the other plane, I get a 'Fatal Error' message and FSX shuts down and restarts.

I have uninstalled both A2A planes and then reinstalled them but that did not resolve the problem. Everything else in the simulator seems to work just fine.

What could be the problem.

welcome to the forums. It sounds like you are missing the latest Direct X9 on your system.
