Did you check in the A2A Configurator for any mixture axis mappings? I don't believe we have checked there yet. That does allow one to make airplane specific mappings.

I remember that I checked and there wasn't a mixture field. Tomorrow I will check better.

It was a good suggestion to check the input configurator (available from the A2A Simulations folder in the Windows Start Menu) but as Leo mentioned, there's no axis or key function for mixture.

None of those add-on programs listed would seem to be a likely culprit either. Active Sky can produce some odd effects with "enhanced turbulence" enabled, but surely it wouldn't move the mixture lever unless in some attempt to simulate induction icing. This is an odd one for sure: interested to hear if you reproduce the behaviour tonight Leo...

Dear Nick,

After 2 hours of flight the issue did not reproduce.

I will test over the weekend with Active sky default turbulence settings to see if that brings the issue back again. (at the moment using 70% the issue did not happen).

I will report back as soon as I have more information, and if the issue is cleared after the tests, I will request to close this topic...

Just the usual batch of gremlins!

Good to hear you haven't encountered it again, I would wager something was telling your mixture to decrease be it the host platform or some third party software running in the background.

Thank you for the update Leo. Yes, please keep us posted, though hopefully it's just an isolated gremlin incursion. (It would have been Roald Dahl's 101st birthday yesterday; maybe they're especially active at the moment. )

Tested the mixture again on the hurricane in mexico...

The mixture stayed at 18% with 70kts turbulence...

So I guess we can close this... hahaha
